Assignment #8 How to haggle

How to haggle -session 4

When we go to shop, we always want to buy something cheaper. We always bargain, but sometimes we don’t know how to do that. This session is teaches us in English. It’s very good for us, especially we learn for business. I learn that when we are haggling, instead of using the verb sell, we often use do, can/can’t and could/couldn’t. and know that “knock off” means lower the price.

I think BBC is a nice website. It has many different part, and you can choose what you like. It also explain some words. In this winter vacation, I will practice English by this website.

Assignment #7 The key to success

The Key to Success : Grit
By Angela Lee Duckworth

Angela told us about success, and the main factor was grit. I agree completely! Take some example, a person has high IQ, but not has grit. He always gives up halfway. Naturally, he can’t be successful. On the contrary, a person has low IQ, but he works hard and has grit. He must be successful. Doing everything we have to have grit, and work hard. The thing will be done successfully. This sentence keeps in my mind, and pushes me to grow.
