Assignment #3 My thoughts and new findings on ESL Cyber Listening Lab

At first, I think this class just teaches us English. But now, I think this class is teaching us how to improve our English ability by computer. It really learns a lot by this class.

In the first place, teacher tested our listening section. Let me know my listening ability is very poor.

The third week, teacher introduced CALL, told us it history. And then, she gave us another website “ESL Cyber Listening Lab”, which can progress our listening by doing some exercise. This web has script which can let us know the story simpler and easier. And we can use “ oxford Advanced American Dictionary” or “ Cambridge Advanced Learners’ Dictionary “ to find the difficult words. It also has audio files, we can listen it again and again. It is extremely useful for us.

Teacher also taught us how to link words this week. I think it really difficult. But thanks for teacher giving us the web, we can practice that by ourselves.

These days, I gain a lot. I hope I can progress abidingly. My English is poor, but I think I will be good at it in the future.
